QA Guidebook Project Summary
The Quality Assurance Guidebook was developed to support facilitators in addressing common quality findings within their work. In partnership with a subject matter expert from the Quality Assurance team, I created a practical reference guide that provides real-world examples of common errors and clear guidance on how to correct them.
Business Challenge
Quality Assurance reviews revealed several recurring high-finding areas that were impacting performance and compliance. Facilitators needed a clear and accessible resource that explained common errors and provided practical guidance for addressing them. Existing information was not consolidated in a way that made it easy for facilitators to quickly reference and apply during their work.
My Role
I partnered with a Quality Assurance subject matter expert to design and develop a guidebook that addressed the most common high-finding areas. I was responsible for structuring the content, translating SME knowledge into clear instructional guidance, and designing the guidebook in a format that would be easy for facilitators to reference during their work.
My Approach
To develop the guidebook, I collaborated closely with the SME to identify the most frequent quality findings and understand the root causes behind these errors. I then organized the information into clear sections and incorporated real-world examples to illustrate common mistakes. The guidebook was designed to provide both explanation and corrective guidance so facilitators could quickly understand the issue and apply the appropriate solution.
The Solution
The final product was a structured Quality Assurance Guidebook developed in Google Slides that outlines common high-finding areas and provides examples of errors along with step-by-step guidance on how to correct them. The guidebook serves as a practical reference tool that facilitators can use to better understand quality expectations and improve their performance.Take a look at a sample page here.
The Impact
The guidebook provided facilitators with a centralized resource for understanding and addressing common quality findings. By presenting real-world examples and corrective guidance in a clear format, the guidebook helps facilitators better identify potential errors and apply best practices in their work.
